Rocky and David
We're looking to adopt a baby
Hi-yah, we are David and Rocky! We are so grateful you are taking the time to get to know our little family!
Like many other couples our age, we met online when we were both looking to make new friends and expand our social circles. After many messages, we met up in person. We are the epitome of “opposites attract,” as one of us is more outgoing, and the other more introspective. However, we brought out something special in one another. It wasn’t long before we knew we were meant to be more than friends, rather, the greatest love either of us had ever experienced. It’s funny how life works out like that.
After three years together, we moved to the Northeast, and began our lives as a married couple! It is hard to believe we are going on 10 years together. In some ways, it seems like our wedding was just yesterday.
We have always known that we wanted to be parents, though our path would not be a traditional one. In the best interest of a child, we chose to wait to start our family until after David was completed with his military career, to avoid the possibility of having to move our family around. After 14 years of service in the Navy, David is now retired from the armed services and we are ready to welcome a child to our family. It was so hard to wait to start our adoption journey because we were both so excited about parenting, but the time has come, and we could not be more thrilled!
